Area Information:

The whole area around the bay has recently been zoned for development. The government has recently committed considerable money to improving the roads and infrastructure in this area, including building a new International Airport at Izmir. Without doubt it is destined to become one of the areas that will rapidly expand over the next few years. In 5 years time the whole area will have been transformed and if Bodrum is anything to go by property prices will probably have doubled or trebled. Now is undoubtedly the time to buy. However for now there are the immediate benefits of low levels of traffic, and really low prices in restaurants. In the local village of Mordogan just 10 minutes from Peninsula Village there are many restaurants offering really nice food, for just £ 4 per head. As Mordogan is a true working fishing village you can be sure the fish is fresh the day you eat it.
